Online Sales Break Black Friday Record



Black Friday brought in a record $9.12 billion in online sales this year, according to Adobe Analytics, up 2.3% from last year.
Electronics and gaming were the top purchases Friday, with toys and exercise equipment also seeing major interest.
Amid concerns about inflation and the cost of living, consumers are nevertheless expected to spend more than $200 billion online over the course of the season, according to Adobe Analytics.
“Shoppers are embracing the Buy Now Pay Later payment method more this year to be able to buy desired gifts,” said Vivek Pandya, lead analyst at Adobe Digital Insights.
